So, I need a gift to give a family at Christmas.
Just a my house to yours type thing.
Budget £10-15 ish no alcohol and prefer not to give chocolate or biscuits.
Family of four (inc two uni aged teens) the parents run their own business and whole family is health conscious hence reluctant to give sweet treats.
Any ideas? I'm a bit stumped Smile

You need to find all your words before the other team does. V good thinky fun.

What's your budget roughly?

Restaurant voucher
Tickets to a show or local attraction
Cinema vouchers
Movie hamper : with DVD, popcorn boxes, popcorn maker
Health hamper: fruit selection (mix of ordinary and unusual) with a smoothie maker
Chimera or space heater if they spend time in their garden

I'll have a look at Amazon for more board game ideas thank you.
Ticket to ride well above budget unfortunately.
It's really just a token thing with max budget £15. Was hoping for something that could be used by all the family.
Thanks to all replies

Can I just ask why you feel the need to do this? Couldn't you just agree on a card.

Something the whole family can use, when one is at university, the other is an a level student and then two I assume 40 something parents, that costs less than £15 and isn't edible just seems like buying something they will not really want/use.

A good game to play over the holidays might work but not in your budget. A picture frame would fit your budget but is a bit meh, shower gel etc again might not be something they use. I guess a bird feeder for the garden kind of works, but just seems pointless gifting for the sake of it.

Yes on the face of I suppose it could seem without meaning to some.
It's actually for my Mum to give as a gift. They have been exchanging these types of gifts since I was v Small (I'm now 45) the adult children of both families have suggested dropping it but they want to continue.
It makes my Mum happy and that's the main thing to me Smile

5 second rule is a good game. You can get a travel one that's cheaper but doesn't seem like travel game if that makes sense. Or Play That Tune is another good cheap one.

The 221b Sherlock Holmes game is £13.99 on amazon at the moment, free delivery for spends over £20 of you could find something else to add to your purchase. I played it with my family last Christmas (all adults) and we all really enjoyed it. It's a bit like cluedo with a bit more detective work.

Sorry can't link. Smile

Yes your mum wanting to carry on a tradition makes sense. The tree decoration is a nice idea. Not on the high stree do lots as well as the site linked above. Or how about a nice Christmas flower arrangement or poinsettia?
