I misunderstood. Thought ds was getting a course paid for for Christmas. As dh quite rightly points out we've supported dds 1 and 2 through university so we should support ds and still get him presents.

So it's nearly Christmas eve. I really need ideas for ds - 20, works in tree surgery, very sociable... So far he has a couple of t shirts, a jumper and a DVD.

Tickets for something? So you can present him with the booking email.

Are there shops you can get to tomorrow? Some chocolates, a bottle of good wine/Scotch/whatever he drinks..

A subscription to something he would like-Time, Private Eye, New Scientist, The Week.

Look on groupon. You can print out the vouchers or email them to him

How much are you going for here? How much more do you need?

A bigish supermarket will have: food treats, smellies, vouchers (maybe a cinema voucher?).

Does he have a games console? Could you get him a new game?

Thank you. Bluetooth speaker it is - at least I'll then know where mine is! We live near a rubbish town for shopping but do have a JL Home a few miles away.
