What are you getting your three year old girls?

For dd who is nearly 3 I have 2 Paw Patrol vehicles with figures. Was thinking a CD player or something as she likes singing and dancing, and maybe some Playmobil - we already have the camping type stuff from dc1 - and she has some horses - can anyone recommend other sets? Her birthday is shortly after Christmas and she's getting a Lottie Doll.

Otherwise drawing a blank. She likes Frozen, though mainly dressing up and the soundtrack, she isn't really into Disney movies yet other than that.

I'm getting my dd (3 early Jan) a kitchen and a dressing up box.

My dd is 3 just before Christmas. For Christmas and her birthday from us and family she's getting:

Dolls house (wooden Asda one which is really lovely)
A couple of dressing up costumes
Rag doll I have made
Small cot and high chair for her baby doll
My Little Pony 'squishy pops' which she has specifically requested
Orchard Toys games (saw recommended here)
Cash register

Some other small bits like a sticker book, tsum tsums, a set of small plushy frozen characters, craft stuff.

I would recommend Happyland sets from ELC as DD loves these. My nieces who are much older still play with theirs too so I think they are good value

My 4 year old is getting a doll, pram and accessories set, Playmobil and some Twozies. Stocking fillers include a book, some Paw patrol bits from claires, temporary tattoos (she is obsessed with them!) a wiggly worm and some Unpoppable bubbles.

We toyed with the idea of a proper dolls house but thought we'd leave that for her birthday.

Mine loves music and dancing so I'm getting a piano keyboard for her with a little microphone attached.

I can also recommend the flat pianos you lie on the floor and dance on. We have one and it's great fun.

Although CD player sounds good I would caution against this until she is 5ish. Younger children find it v easy to break them/damage CDs.

I got DD a proper little Casio keyboard. It's much less tinny than the kiddy versions and has stood up to a year of abuse very well (inc the baby joining in)

Otherwise lego, scooter basket, ink stamps, colouring books, cheap jewellery from primark and one large playmobil set (around £30-40)

Dressing up box is a good idea - was thinking of a new costume of some sort so could make it more of a thing.

All good suggestions but she is dc2 so we already have kitchen/cash register/Orchard games and she got a mini dollhouse last year that I think will be fine for a bit longer yet. She loves Happyland and as you say, redhouses her older brother still plays with it too, but we already have a few sets and I did think no more...

She plays a lot with her baby doll so going to look for high chair, and My Little Pony stuff might be worth a look as she likes horses generally.

Thanks for the heads up re: Paw Patrol at Claire's, smeggtoplasm some hair accessories will be great for her stocking. What Playmobil is your dd getting?

Actually she is very good with her brother's Lego, so might have a look for a little juniors set of her own.

My 3 year old has so far:-

Hair glow rapunzel
Sing along Elsa
Music Ariel (she likes her princess dolls)

She's got elefun and don't take busters bones for some board games. Also getting her the chicken one and pop up Olaf

She also wants Belle's giant tea set so getting her that.

Then I might get her a couple of clothing to pad it out

Temporary tattoos is a good one! My DD loves them so I'll order some more for her stocking.

It must be difficult if you already have older dc as stuff gets passed down. I'd definitely run out of ideas if that was me!

Asda do nice sets of their own version of my little ponies if you don't want to pay more for the real thing. My DM has got a set for DD as she won't know the difference.

My 3 yo has a doctor's dressing up kit which I'm putting together, a fire fighter outfit, a dolls cradle for her sisters unloved dolls that she plays with. We already have big stuff so finding it really tricky as don't want to spend for the sake of spending.

We're getting Megan, a new dolls pram with cosy toes and a new doll, and dolls high chair & cot, playmobil farm and barn and farm house and other bits to go with that and some peppa pig things and just puzzles & drawing things she's just turned 3 and got a new bike so stuck to what else to get her

My dd has some Sylvanians that she plays with in her little wooden dolls house, we are contemplating grandparents getting her one of the buildings, veggiesupreme (my favourite pizza) I think they should be ok. My dd is good with fiddly bits, any frustrating accessories you could always put away for a couple of months. Anticipate spending a lot of time dressing them for her though

DD's getting a Lottie Doll - I reckon the Pirate Queen one or the Star Gazer one.

(Lottie's kinda like an anti-Barbi, she's doll that's in proportions and doesn't just do stereotypically girly stuff).

Also some Duplo and maybe some Lego.

Not sure what else yet as she's a second child and has inherited so much stuff already! She especially loves her wooden train set, dolls house and dressing up, if she didn't have them already I'd get them!

If you do go the CD player route get one which can play copied CDs. We used to copy them and give DD the copies in case of scratches. We only had to replace a couple and she was pretty good after that.

She had a sing along one with microphone, I think it was ELC, lasted ages.

Yes the Lottie dolls are lovely, aren't they aforest - I have already got one for her birthday just after Christmas, we went for Muddy Puddles for now, but I got her the superhero outfit to go with it. When I ordered they were giving away a Robot Girl one free, don't know if they still have that promotion? So have that too, but will probably hang on to it for next year, or a treat later on.

The elc one was the one I saw giggling - copies are a good idea. I like the singalong aspect, as she is getting into singing and dancing.

Yes we have lots of wooden track and Duplo, both much played with, and would recommend to anyone, but feel we don't need any more!

Mine's almost 4. She's mostly getting a hatchimal (which was negotiated down from "a real live parrot which I'll look after so well mummy and let him fly around so it won't be cruel to keep it in a cage") and a whole load of My Little Pony crap because she's obsessed. And a tasteful nesting doll from GLTC in an antidote to the pile of rubbish.

DD1 will be 3 in 2 weeks.

She has a scooter and the Happyland village (plus going to Frozen on Ice and she's having a party at soft play).

For Christmas she has a rocking horse, Furreal cat, Anna and Elsa dolls, Playmobil, jigsaws, games (pop up Olaf, Pie Face and a few Orchard educational games) and her stocking with choc, bubbles, small cars from Blaze, small Marshall from Paw Patrol, bath squirter, character pants and some kids jewellery.

I would recommend nesting dolls. Little bit had some last year and she loves them.
