define old fashioned? I got "rockin around the christmas tree" 3 cd set years ago that's all 50s/60s Christmas tunes!

I want crackling fires and a vintage snowed in feel. My old cd did just that but can't for the life of me remember what it was. Could try a bit of Buble.

We like Phil Spector - A Christmas gift for you (I know, I know, but the music's brilliant)
And do you remember a few years ago the BBC did a reality X factor style show called 'The Choir'? It was won by a gospel choir and they put out a Christmas CD, it's brilliant.
We also love Chorals for Christmas Handel/Bach - For unto us a child is born. Renaissance style and best of all, when played in the air the DCs all sing along to it as 'We want some Chinese pork!' - small pleasures.....

The Now Christmas CD has one disc of stuff from last 30 years and the other disc is older stuff, IIRC.
