Nutella jar label

My free Nutella jar label for Dd has arrived have realised that I can't actually stick it on a jar of the chocolatey stuff as then would have to wash the jar out which might ruin label. So look next bright idea is to eat lots of Nutella rinse out the jar and stick the label on it..she loves quirky stationery and storage. Any ideas what I can put in it. She does not like obvious nuts or I would have put ferero rocher in it! [santa]

Can't you just take the label off a full jar and wash the outside? Confused Nutella is foil sealed, I doubt any water would get in.

Oh sorry, I understand, the point is to keep the jar! Disregard Grin

Mine are ordered. I was wondering whether it would be possible to varnish the jar/label etc so it wouldn't be damaged by washing as I'm sure my girls would like to keep their jars (which are going in their stockings) once they've finally been emptied.

Yes she rarely gets anything with her name on it although her name is becoming very popular year on year nothing gets added in the shops!

Could you make something like this? Line the jar with pretty paper so it won't need washing afterwards - or wrap the chocs individually? deliciouslyyum.com/nutella-truffles/

Now that would be a.good idea Charley! ..But then I wouldn't get to eat Nutella by the spoon in the name of emptying outthe jar at a rapid enough pace!

Just look for the jars with the round label on the lid. Under the label is a unique code to enter online and they send you the label.

My girls have traditional names so it's easy to find personalised things for them. I grew up with a name that you never found on anything in the shops and you still don't really.

I can't stand nutella, smelly, so their jars are safe from me. :)

We got the selfridges ones last year (thank you to my dear hungover friend who queued for hours while feeling very fragile) and they were fab. Hard to clean out jar properly while keeping label clean but we did it! Both DC use them to store pencils, pens etc in their rooms. You could wash out a jar, stick on new label, stick in a voucher for a new hat us another voucher for Costa, Greggs etc (my DC love then) and some chocs.

could you laminate the label and attach Velcro dots to each side - would that work??

Where did you get the label? I have two Nutella addicts in my house!

Booty, you buy one of the jars instore that has the circular label on the lid. You then use the code to send off for the label.

You can buy them personalised for you, from Selfridges online, but they are £5 each.

My label is stuck on the fridge from the last time they did it . I'm cak handed and couldn't get it on a jar ! Just ordered a load as presents - few of the family never see anything with their names on them . At least I'm not rooting through shelves like share a Coke !

But you can stick the label on a new (unopened) jar right? I know someone who wouldn't be upset about having to eventually chuck the jar but would like the label on a fresh jar.

I'm thinking of blutacking the label on for the DC and then sticking it down properly once the jar is empty and clean

Are they having technical difficulties? I've just gone online to order a label for a jar for my niece as a token gift for Christmas and you can't get to the page anymore.
