Dp hates christmas pudding weirdo so I've bought a small log for him.
But what do you have with it? Ice cream? Brandy butter? Normal cream? Custard?
I can't remember ever having it because I love Christmas pudding so much!

Custard or ice-cream depends which he prefers.

I'll buy both, I can eat whichever he doesn't, thanks Flowers

What is your log like? Giant cream covered affair - nothing. Chocolate covered - nothing, cream or ice cream. I'd still tend to the nothing option as they are usually v rich and designed to eat by themselves.

Definitely not custard.

Get some lovely ice-cream and hide it that way if he does t see it means you have a lovely treat for all that hard work Grin

No Christmas Pud eaters in this house and we always make a Yule Log.

The only answer to the question for us for what to serve with it is Spoon or Fork ; )

Yes to strawberries. Most Yule logs are covered in thick rich buttercream, it doesn't need anything else, but a few strawbs would be refreshing.

A glass of pudding wine or tawny port.

We usually just have it on own. A dollop of cream sounds nice though....yum.
