Who's waiting on parcels? Are you worried?

I'm waiting on lots and starting to worry as it's getting so close to last posting dates.

I'm waiting on deliveries from Photobox, ASOS (2 orders), Fragrance Direct and Amazon. Had dispatch emails on the last two so not too worried about them but nothing from ASOS or Photobox. Slightly concerned as don't have a plan B if anything doesn't arrive.

Anyone else panicking?

Me from Amazon. I'm not worried yet though I am annoyed because they shipped one of my parcels to Canada. I'm in the States. Quite near Canada but still, seems like not the fastest way!

God I never buy from ASOS...had a nightmare with them a few yrs back (xmas) and they were just so blasé about it! Tried again with them a yr later and same thing happened where package didn't arrive. I would hassle them to be honest!

I was waiting for a parcel from the jewel hut of a pandora ring. They have just emailed me to say they have cancelled my order due to high order levels. Arrrggh. Now I have to trail around town looking for a replacement because I don't trust one to be delivered if I order online again.

My order confirmation from ASOS said they will be delivered on or before 22nd Dec - it's not leaving much room for manoeuvre! Just worried that they nit been dispatched and it's been 4 days since I ordered.

I'm waiting for something I ordered on the 11th, when it was supposedly in stock for next day delivery.

Now it won't even be sent out until the 19th, and is showing as out of stock on the website.

I'm not hopeful.

I got a refund from Amazon today for an item that still hasn't been delivered after ordering on 30th November. Then saw on Twitter on Martin Lewis MSE feed that they are having trouble meeting deliveries. They are claiming they have no problems but lots of people not getting their parcels Confused

Who's waiting on parcels? Are you worried?

Polarn o Pyret cancelled an order I'd placed :(

An order I was expecting turned up today, hoorah! It was coming from China so it's been a few weeks and I wasn't sure if it would arrive on time.

The disney store.
Seems they had a few technical issues at the back end of November and a few orders weren't generated properly. Three bloody times they've tried to push the order through only for it to fail again all the while they've got my money.

Desert runner
that would be helpful, thank you. I have had a look online and it's out of stock most places. It's the silver bow ring.
It's my DS first Xmas with his gf and he was really excited to be getting this for her and now he's so disappointed.

My order from nigel o hara just arrived today! taken them since the 3rd November so not impressed but am releied it got here in time as my brothers girlfriends main and only present!

also waiting for :

cheap Chinese stocking filler gloves (ebay china)
cheap dog rubbing mitt (also ebay china)
and 2 microwave hug toys (ebay)

to be honest a lot of companies seem to be doing fine with delivering things, think its their companies rather than postal system, as i ordered my secret Santa work items yesterday ( names only got pulled yesterday!) from peacocks and got them today!

I've ordered some American stuff from a site that I googled afterwards and found very bad reviews for. Xmas Sad People saying their order took weeks to arrive, if at all.

They're just stocking fillers but I was quite excited as the things I bought are hard to get hold of and recipient would be thrilled.

Ordered on Sunday so I'm on post watch too.

I have two final orders to place today but I'm opting for next day delivery because I couldn't handle the stress of them possibly not arriving on time.

I was pretty angry last week when I got an email from white company informing me that due to high demand the product I'd ordered would now be delivered within 3-5 working days of Christmas Day. Called them up expecting that to mean it'd be here 3-5 days before Christmas, Nope. Meant it's not even in stock until Christmas Day (or boxing day before obviously the 25th is a day off) then has to go through quality checks before it'll be dispatched, then takes 3-5 working days to arrive and is with shitty yodel. The woman I spoke to (after TWENTY minutes on hold!!) said it likely wouldnt be with me until the 6-7th of January. So I cancelled the damn order, now have to order it from a different site today next day delivery, it's costing me £10 more from this site but for the sake of £10 I'd rather know I was going to get it on time for my DC to bloody open it! ARGH. Rant over Grin

I'm waiting for something I ordered for DH (a videogame thing). It should be here any day soon.

I'm also waiting for stuff my mother has ordered for the children. She's left it pretty late.
