Let's share ideas, I'll start. DD is getting a proper sewing machine, a sewing basket filled with tools (fabric scissors, tape measures, pins, buttons, etc) and fabric, ribbons, patterns, sewing books. I think she'll get a lot of pleasure from this and I'm really pleased with my purchases.....oh, and a much asked for Furby which will hide at the bottom of the stocking so FC will get credit for that one.

Dd1 (8 soon to be 9) a yellow Furby and Sylvanian Families house - possibly Highfields Farm, I still can't decide! My mum has bought her a sewing box and filled it with threads, needles etc..

Dd2 (6) a pink/purple Furby and something else, but I don't know what yet!

dd(9) has decided she likes Barbie (a bit late!) so is getting a horse and carriage, the closet, a couple of dolls and some extra fashions. She is also getting a tablet as her main present. She has no interest in a Furby (thank goodness!)

Sounds great, Sylvanian families have been much loved in this house. Barbies not so much sadly but maybe that is still coming. Furby seems to be on many lists this year, I'm surprised the shops haven't sold out.

I believe that a music doll or plush toy is always loved by children. Also you can think about a drawing kit or various games like Monopoly, Darts, Rummy.

My daughter is 6 (she will be 7 in March).

For Christmas she has asked for and is getting:
Playmobil vets stuff (have got her the clinic and the operating theatre set)
Playmobil family boat
Horrid Henry talking doll
Horrid Henry books and DVDs
Horrid Henry slime
CD player with Horrid henry CD and Jessie J album.

Other bits she is having which we have chosen are:
Furreal friends gogo walking pup (reduced from 59.99 to £14.99 in Argos)
2 joke/trick sets
Disney princess art set
Scooby doo fleece blanket
cooking mama 2 DS game
Toy story 3 DS game

Then she will have a joint gift with her little sister of massive play doh set, Tom and Jerry DVDs and Mona the vampire DVDs

My mum is getting her the playmobil camper van and also a joint gift with her sister of huge wooden dolls house and all accessories.

And 1 auntie is getting her scooby doo figures.

She also has other aunts/uncles and grandparents. Some will buy gifts, others will give money

Seems to be a bit of a sewing theme smile

We are hoping to get DD (9) a second-hand keyboard if we can find a good one at the right price (otherwise it may be a joint Christmas/birthday present - 10 in Feb) but am also putting together a sewing kit and fabric plus a David Walliams boxset.

I'm the one that wants the sewing machine.
