Conspiracy theorists

I see that basically every conspiracy theorist is gender critical and can see the brainwashing of the majority. Why can no gender critical people see it? The ones I have watched, can see that this is a top down overton shift, but seem to refuse any opinion that is counter narrative in any other sphere. I don't get it. The term conspiracy theorist has been just as weaponised as terf. Look at the wider span.

I saw a thread that opined that the trans character Hailey was placed into Coronation Street by a certain commitee with intention to normalise it. It was a good thread, but tbh that is the very definition of a conspiracy theory. I'm just confused that most dismiss anything else outside the mainstream as bunkum.

Well actually knowing the difference between males and females is pretty basic, I even had a dog that was afraid of men and liked women. That is why being gender critical has nothing to do with being left-wing or right-wing or any other type of ideology.

And yes I agree that conspiracy theorist is an insult that automatically dismisses whatever is being said and puts a barrier up to listening. Which is a shame because a lot of people talk a lot of sense (and others a load of codswallop)

Yes it is basic, but now apparently not so to a lot of people. Does this not make anyone wonder what else have we been "misled" about?

There are many threads here detailing the specific meetings and specific lobbying decisions made over the years that the general public weren't aware of.

They're not theories, it's all been evidenced. The harpy sings thread is an example of this.

Gender ideologists aren't the majority. They're just the most vocal and agressive so make far more noise than the majority.

It's not a conspiracy 'theory' when EVERY 'theory' is PROVEN TRUE.
Open your eyes.

Well there are real conspiracies. Look at the FBI plan to make Fidel Castro's beard fall out and so discredit him with the public. People actually think this stuff.

The difficulty is really trying to sort the real conspiracies from the fake ones.

What I have noticed is that many people reserve the word conspiracy for something that is fake, if it is real they use another word, like "plan".

Gender criticals are right wing, anti abortion, anti vaxxers, racist, anti semetic, homophobic, transphobic, middle aged, well funded by the Christian right, known to be violent and are peadophiles, but there are only 6 of us and most feminists hate us and don't agree with us.
Have I missed anything?

Also if Haley in Coronation Street had been played by a male actor I suspect the outcome would have been very different.

What's the purpose of posting something so vague, yet accusatory? What is it you think we can't see?

Why can't you accept that humans are hardwired to see sex? Being able to tell each others sex is the default position for a sexually dimorphic species that reproduces sexually.
If we weren't sexually dimorphic we might be more like ants, and have to rely on our sense of smell to tell each other apart. I'm sorry you are offended by biology, personally I think we got a pretty good deal overall.

I am struggling to make any sense of the OP, but I think that my take on conspiracy theories is the correct one.

Conspiracy theorists (people who are constantly banging on about the moon landings being faked and aliens at Roswell) are total fools.

BUT, people who assume that there is no conspiracy, laugh at the idea that there might be one, are almost as bad.

In terms of the "trans issue" I don't believe that there is some over-arching conspiracy going on. However, it would not be at all surprising if there weren;t a few conspiracies going on - for example right wing politicians pushing trans issues amongst left wing youth in order to split the left, and simultaneously taking backhanders from medical companies for pushing medical pathways. Anyone who writes things like this off as impossible is nearly as bad the people with tin-foil wrapped around their heads.

As is often the case the truth is complicated, and if you're simplifying in either direction you might find yourself making mistakes!
