Terrific! I'm planning to treat myself to watching some of her in action next week. It's been a mighty long while since I've found someone so inspiring!

Wendy Davis is a modern day hero and did a fantastic job. Mizuno should be proud to have supplied the shoes she used! Those reviews are fab - I particularly liked this one:
By Bryan Berry
I bought them in pink with green stripe. I will put them on my feet when I need to run far. When I am tired, I will ask myself: WWWD?! Then I will keep running.

Brilliant! "Guaranteed to outrun the patriarchy on race day" Smile third without wanting to derail you, have you seen similarly brilliant Amazon reviews for Bic for her? Absolutely bloody hilarious

Fantastic.

I still haven't watched any actual footage of her epic session but I've read about it.

This is a bit shallow, but is my thread a discussion of the day!? Grin

tee hee - I know its common : I've been spoilt because Accountancy is pretty egalitarian (you either pass those darned exams or you don't)
what amused me was his reaction to my "smile"
he apologised when I was back there the next year Grin

Same here. I realise I've been a bit complacent about women's rights.
I have a fab husband and motivated kids so its easy to forget the shit that misogynists do

then again (utterly outing self here) the chap who asked me if my husband approved of me working backed without taking his eyes off me after I "smiled" at him
