I read it earlier, very thought provoking. It did make me wonder - what must Michelle Obama think of Samantha Cameron?

I love that Suzanne Moore. I'd only noticed her recently, but everything she writes is spot on

he definitely isn't.

definitely not

Yes! Re Michelle/Samantha - flipping publicity photo of them IN THE KITCHEN! Because that's what wives do, right? (Sorry if this is a thread hijack and there is another torrent of rage on here about this...)

And I work with professional women, who have studied hard and sacrified much for their career, who on finding out they're pregnant harbour fantasies of setting up a cupcake business during their maternity leave.

HH, a pimp? Good gracious, no!

That was an interesting article, well written.

Did any of you read the comments at the bottom? Some of them were interesting, although some were deriding Suzanne.

I also find the fascination with Kate, Samantha, Michelle et al quite sickening. All these ladies are smart, accomplished in their own right (in that they have degrees and jobs) so the focus on them as darling little wives doesn't sit easy with me.

I like Suzanne Moore but the ridiculous cupcake obsession predates this Government by years!
