During stay in hospital after having my baby via emergency c section. The midwife on duty didn't leave my buzzer in reach, leaving me and my crying baby who was only hours old with no medical assistance for 45 minutes. For the 45 minutes my baby was crying and i was calling for help unable to move due to c section. I had to use my mobile and call triage to ask for help for my baby and to send a midwife in. I now suffer from pain in scar area from trying to pull myself up and off the bed to tend to baby and also suffer from ptsd from event. It happened 6 months ago but it's still very raw and traumatic. Is it worth making a complaint or just come to terms with it and deal with it?
