I need to stop the slide. I’m now over 11st and it’s all round my waist and face which at 5ft 4in is starting to make me look as wide as I am tall.

Back on mfp and going for 10k Fitbit steps to start off.

Would love some company, otherwise I’ll just witter on to myself anyway Grin

Well, despite a couple of weeks 'off' I have maintained my stone weight loss so I am quite pleased!

Back on it properly though from today! Going to run after work and back to logging on mfp sticking to my 1200 cals a day.

7 weeks until my holiday!

Well done pumpkin, that's amazing!

Not a great weekend but not a terrible one, diet wise. I tend to do what I want at a weekend within reason and rein it in during the week. Had a bad stomach for a few days, it's curtailing my running but may help with the weight loss?!

Wow that’s amazing Pumpkin ! I was awful yesterday and this weekends events won’t help but I’m not stressing about it, it’s going to happen now and again as long as I’m maninly good, especially during the week then it’s fine. I’m already finding clothes fitting better so hopefully that will help keep me motivated!

Weighed in today and I have lost another 5lb. I am now 9st 7lb - a whole stone lighter than I was 6 weeks ago Glitterball

I'm so happy! Just another half stone to go and then I will maintain but I feel so much better now!

Well done on your losses Glitterball

At least it's not just me who people don't realise have lost weight Grin I definitely feel better in my clothes!

My husband's birthday is Sunday and a are going to the Italian so I am trying to be extra good too so that I don't ruin it all on Sunday Grin

Agree with Peggy when I previously dropped nearly 3 stone I didn’t really get comments until maybe 1.5 stone down, most people waited until I was well over 2 stone though. But then (family) started getting on my case about being too thin 🙄, even though my BMI was still within healthy range - made me feel rubbish as felt like they were saying I looked worse.

Anyway weigh in this morning is 10st10lb which is about 6lb down in total, I’ve tried to be very good last few days as I have an 18th on Saturday so would be good to shift a couple more pounds for that (although it’ll go back on that night I imagine 😳) It’s amazing how the teeniest amount of weight can make you feel better about certain clothes, even though it’s not visible to anyone else.

Pumpkin, when I've lost weight before I found people didn't really notice, or at least comment until I'd lost quite a bit.

Weigh in day here and another pound down which I'm pleased about after a tricky weekend. Old habits are creeping back in though so got to nail those on the head.

pen sounds like you have a good plan that will work for you and that's all that matters!

I am doing ok on it this week so will see what the scales say on Monday.

I feel slimmer but feel like it's not noticeable to others but that will hopefully come eventually.

PenApple · 15/05/2018 19:30

I’m calorie counting and at a guess I’m taking in about 700 cal a day less than I was, and (depending on the scales!) have only lost around 4lb in a month. However I know the foods I do eat are not great..

I’m never going to be a healthy eater, so in my mind there’s no point in doing so as it’ll be temporary then the weight will pile on again. So I’m aiming to cut waaaay down on the junk food, although still allow myself daily treats, and keep eating my normal meals as I think it’s the constant snacking that is my main downfall.

I also need to excercise or I’ll never get the calorie deficit needed. So I guess I know where I’m going wrong, just need to work on fixing it!

8.5lb is amazing for 3 weeks! That’s 4/5ths of my last baby 😬

Well, as I thought, I had maintained this week - I have been ill so not been running and not eaten/tracked that carefully.

Still, I am still 8.5lb lighter than I was 3 weeks ago so that's good Grin

Back on it properly from today!

10 weeks until my holiday!

pen I'm not having a great week as been so rough with this cold so not eaten that well and not been running. So, I'm.thinking I will maintain rather than lose this week.

Are you calorie counting as well as stopping the fizzy drinks?

On a good day, my menu looks a bit like this:

breakfast
Cup of tea with skimmed milk
Fruit salad (fresh) and fat free yogurt

lunch

Lean Turkey breast and salad on homemade wholemeal bread with piece of fruit.

Dinner

Spag bol/chicken wraps with salad etc - small portions with no added butter/oil etc.

I mostly drink water in the day and some cups of tea at night. Keeps me well within 1200 calories and losing. I am finding I am less hungry these days.

Everyone’s doing so well! I’m not... period just finished and get them with bad bloating & cramps and apparently ravenous 😳

I’m going to try to stick to weighing weekly rather than every day or 2 as I’m fluctuating so much it’s infuriating. I’m also cross that despite dropping hundreds of calories a day from soft drinks alone, it’s made no difference - I’m wondering if I should maybe concentrate on my fat & carbs intake rather than calories.

Sorry you have felt ill too peggy it's certainly rubbish trying to diet when unwell but good that you still maintained!

Weigh in day here and I stayed the same. Feeling quite pleased I didn't gain any after a horrendous weekend of feeling ill and eating rubbish, an Indian for lunch on Monday and less exercise. Plus my period has come today which has made me bloated and grouchy.

Definitely in the slow and steady race. People have started to comment though which is nice. We have about 5 weeks til our holiday (well summer back in the Uk/Europe) so seeing how much I can lose before then.

Miraculously I am still within my calorie limit as I was so good earlier in the day so don't feel so be now!

Aargh - bad day today! I am full of the worst cold ever and although I was very good at breakfast and lunch, I am so rough that DH suggested Chinese for tea so I have just had king prawn schezuen with boiled rice although I haven't eaten it all - probably half Blush

Grr must get back on track tomorrow!

Absolutely- I would love to sneak into the sub 10st category by then! We shall see. At least I’m just back in the healthy range for height. Egg for breakfast as I’m starving this morning Confused

Well done MrsPear

I had a glass of wine today so probably used quite a few calories there although not eaten huge amounts. Couldn't resist in the lovely weather!
Back on it properly tomorrow!
I also have 11 weeks to go and if I lose a pound a week between now and then I will 1st 4lb lighter than when I started which I will be amazingly happy with!

Hello still here and plugging away - weigh in this morning and I was 10st 7. Pleased with that. I am also in the slow and steady camp - 11 weeks until holiday! I’m basically doing three meals and no crap - fallen off a few times but mostly sticking to it.

2kg is great fish Smile

I felt like I had done less well this week as work has been mad and although I have tried I was sure I hadn't done well this week. However, I weighed today ( a day early) and have lost another 2.5lb so I am happy with that!

So, in total I have lost 8.5lb in the two weeks since I startedSmile

Well done popsicle and I agree that slow and steady is the way to go, if you have time. I was always amused by those people on How to Lose Weight Well who wanted to lose 2st in a fortnight!

I started again on Monday and interim weigh in this morning showed a 2kg loss so far. I'm trying to put off eating until at least late morning and then just having a yogurt and fruit to keep me going until dinner time. It seems to be working so far. That's 1/5 of my intended loss so I'm pleased about that.

PumpkinPie2016 · 04/05/2018 14:49

Slow and steady is definitely the way to go!

Had a bit of a rubbish day yesterday as finished slightly over calories due to work being manic.

Should even out over the week though!

I definitely feel less tired than I used to do that's a good benefit to the new regime.

Well done Pop (to bold you add an * at start and end of word 😊)

I’ve had a rubbish few days but have managed to lose another lb which I’m pleased with. Not sure how I’ll do when I weigh in on Monday as weekends never go down well...

Just over 1lb lost this week (1 1/4). So that’s just over 5lb lost. I’m feeling good and already done at least 30mins of active walking.
