Is Weight Watchers *really* that bad? E.g. re the avocado issue 🥑

Basically I have no ‘off’ button when it comes to sugar. I can happily eat two slices of cake and half a packet of biscuits. It’s awful, I know, and I am both Blush and Sad that I’m like this.

I’m thinking about joining WW as I think the points system will help me regulate the amount of crap I consume.

But then I read things about a Curly Wurly being fewer points than an avocado and I think 🤔

Is it really that bad??

I have about 2-3 stone to lose.

Well it’s been a short sharp shock so far; thing I thought were healthy are apparently not so much!

No wonder I’m a fat blob Shock

I'm the same but the only thing that works is low carb. Tough but no cravings or binging. You can do in conjunction with WW and you will prob be slimmer if the week!!

If the main issue is bingeing then WW might not help. Would recommend "brain over binge" or gillian riley books.

I do like the emoji! 🥑

I have signed up for a month so I will give it a go for a few weeks and see how I get on.

Ww works if you stick to it. Any diet club can be good that it makes you focus each week and not keep putting things off. You need to have time to go to meetings though. People on MN seem very interested in avocados and slimming. You can eat avocado on WW but it will mean sacrificing quite a lot of points because healthy or otherwise they are full of fat and thus calories. You might like to try myfitnesspal free app before going the whole hog and joining a diet club. It seems to work well for a lot of people and it's a really easy app to use. Good luck.

Currently on Ww. It works if you stick to it which on some days can be hard. However I have a sweet tooth so eat lots of fruit and cunningly choose a low point dinner so can have a treat!!! Fruit, veg and protein are your friends. And there is a good app for support. Good luck!

That's how the ww diet works, you count points. Every diet has its pluses and minuses. You just have to find a diet that works for you, but you have to follow it properly if you want it to work!

Well avocados are high calorie so they will have high points. Doesn't mean you can't eat them.

I'm a sugar fiend too by the way, I'm being (mostly) successful with cold turkey and 3 filling meals a day to keep the monster at bay!

I don't have experience of WW so can't comment on that, but just wanted to approve of your super cute avocado emoji Smile

WW now consider sugar the devil, so have doubled its points.

You'll be fine with WW.
