Small possibility of thunderstorms tomorrow.

With a very hot day in store tomorrow and a little trough and very weak cold front crossing down the eastern side there's potential for some storms to kick off tomorrow afternoon and into the evening. Primary risk area is Lincolnshire through Bedfordshire.

Cooled down dramatically over Beds, lovely breeze, lots of cloud and feels like a possibility of rain-might be wishful thinking though.

There is still a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon/evening - highest risk area I think is central eastern England.

Our town seems to have been the only place overcast this weekend, we have had intervals of sun & temps of 17c but everyone else seems to have basked in it all weekend whilst we haven't grrr, so thunderstorms are the last thing we need here! We actually have a blue sky this morning woop woopSmile, lets hope we get a bit of proper sunshine today!!

I'm south coast. I'd like a storm. I'm boiling and my garden needs water.

I'd be very surprised if there was a storm tonight, there isn't anything to initiate it and CAPE is very low. Might get some drops of rain.

Since it turned very close and hazy, at 3p.m, it is now lightly overcast and wouldn't have made the 20 minute dog walk without my spanish fan to help me breathe.
Could be a thunderstorm in SE in the night - it usually freshens the air up afterwards after the initial surge in humidity .
Got to water the garden again now < it's all too much this evening>

No real let up on heat unless you are in coastal fringe counties (eg Kent, Cornwall etc) wont be quite so hot for some over the next couple of days, but only by about 3C

Is it a storm near the wash currently? Can see an isolated orange blob on the radar which looks a little interesting.

Was coming on here to say that fatsatsuma Grin central southern England looks like a likely area at present.

Risk for storms hasn't vanished today. Risk area I think is Yorkshire give or take a county!

Latest models have moved away from the idea of storms tomorrow.

Although coastal areas (including cornwall) may well be cooler than the rest of England and Wales, theres no sign of the summer vanishing until at least the 23rd in the latest GFS model!

We are off to Cornwall a week on Saturday, for 2 weeks.

It is going to warm up later but not hugely Pesto - maybe 20C? A little warmer tomorrow, but you do escape the most of the heat. If you go further inland it will be much warmer. central southern England may scrape a 32C I think.
