Odd thing just happened

I was in the shower and I turned round and saw something I can only describe as white walk past the bathroom door (through the gap between the shower curtain and wall), bathroom door was open.

I said morning as assumed it was one of the kids.

Get out of shower, expecting at least one of them to be up and about and both kids are still in bed.

I've lived in this house for 8 years, not really experienced anything before today, the house freaks a bit, it's old, but I'm confused by what happened.

Can things just start happening in a house?!

I often see things like a person or a cat which turns out to be a stone or a bag or something. Maybe there was a breeze, and the mind suggested movement to accompany the breeze?

I often see things out of the corner of my eye. There’s nothing there.
A trick of the light? An optical illusion. Both more likely than a ghost.

Was the shower very hot? Might you have been overheated causing you to hallucinate?
