Head of department interview lesson advice

I have an interview for a head of department role. My current head of department has given me a really good lesson Powerpoint for a head of department role I have a interview for on Wednesday. Can I get away with keeping in my current schools logo, their expectations and the slide notes which my current head of department wrote for what they wanted us to say on each slide. Would it be wise to take all this out and to make this Powerpoint my own and adapt it?

Take it out and adapt it. It won’t take much to take off the logos and I would expect a head of department to be making their own PowerPoints.

Absolutely not - It would show that you have made no real effort for the role whatsoever.
Use it as a base and then modify it.

Absolutely not. You may as well download a lesson from Twinkl or TeachIt and leave the watermark on.

I once observed a lesson downloaded from teachit. Not a problem... except they claimed they'd written it.

Which wasn't true. I had.

I'm all for not reinventing the wheel, but for a HOD interview I'd be expecting to see a lesson planned by the candidate.
