Local lockdown - What to do?

I’ve received information from my council that the area I live in is at risk of being put into a local lockdown. The school I teach in is in a different area. Any ideas what the gov guidance is for this other than put your fingers in your ears and pretend it’s not happening? Can just see it going down like a cup of cold sick with my headteacher 😬

If your area is in local lockdown, you are still expected to go to work whether your work takes place in your area or another. Equally, if your work is in a local lockdown area but you are not, you are still expected to go.

They are making a big deal about these local lockdowns but my area is in one and the only restriction is not to go to other people's houses or gardens for social reasons.
