Grrr how frustrating. Of course guidance re opening pubs is ready on the same day as announcements are made. Just schools that have to wait weeks after any announcements are made for the actual detail Hmm

If it helps we had the same situation in Wales.. publically given 3.5 weeks notice... but only given guidance a week after the announcement (and not until about 2:30 that day).

Unions then blamed for being obstructive over not agreeing to reduce the holidays by 1 week to allow schools to open for 4 weeks.

Which could have been avoided if discussions with the unions (including Unison) had taken place 1st, or if schools opened a week earlier!

I think schools guidance is more complicated by a long long way .

But that is no excuse.

The owner of the pub I go to has been considering ways to adapt since he closed. Now he says that as soon as Sturgeon decides to do exactly what Boris does just later he will be ready.
