I've recently taken to calling mine by their gangsta names:

Woody is D-Wood
Tabitha is B-Tab
Rosie is C-Rose

Cat in this household responds to her name....... when she wants to.
She's also known as

Purry Girl
Mogalot
Mog
Bloody cat when she's led under the bookcase and swiped your ankles as you walk by
Slippers- what I keep on promising to turn her into if she uses me as a totem pole again.

I love my cat dearly, I really do, but she has this horrible habit of following me around and walking directly between my legs, tripping me over a million times a day, so she’s affectionately known as “The Dickhead” more often than not Blush The worst part? She responds to it too.

My old boy was known as Monster, even the neighbours knew who I was referring to as he was a regular visitor. His sister was Sweetpuss. I have two ten month olds now, Boris often gets alled Mr Boris or Boris Bod and Ollie is often Oll Poles (as he has a very long thin tail like a pole).

She has got me trained @Weezol. They say dogs know that their owner is their master and cats know that they’re their owners master, so trueSmile

I love that my wee Tortie is a talker, it means that she always alerts me to what she wants and she’s never having to just keep‘wanting’ things without me getting them for her.

She's got you well trained.

Many years ago friends found an abandoned ginger kitten by the bins in a tower block called Scargill House. They took him in and called him Arthur.

Always ARTHUR, when he is being naughty, which is quite often.

When he is being good, Micino, which is a bastardised version of the Italian for pussy cat Grin.

She’s very affectionate and loving too, oh and jealous, when I speak on my phone then she miaows really loudly and wants all my attention, she even once jumped up and scratched my phone when I was texting, it was quite hikarious!

I love it!

No doubt perfectly fine upstanding citizens that we pass every day on the street looking normal and sensible... and yet at home they are Mr boodlywoodly and chunkety chunking at their pets!!

My tortie is also a talker - we do quite a bit of call and response and she asks to go out/come in and expresses all sorts of things with different 'words'. She reserves the heavy huffy sighs for special occasions.

Shit, not a pet mouse, a toy mouse! As if I’d give a kitten a live pet mouse to play with😂😂😂

Well my wee 6 month old female tortie kitten is named Minnie, hence my MN name.

I address her as her name and she answers to it, if I can’t find her I just stand in the middle of the house, which is the hall, and I call her name ‘til she comes to me, she has amazingly cute miaows for when she’s saying different things, N sometimes when I call her just to see where she is, then she gets annoyed & I swear, there’s a moaning sound in her miaow’, it’s fucking the cutest sound you’ll ever hear, it’s also pretty clever!

I’ve never known a cat like my wee beautiful Minnie, she’s so very vocal about everything and miaows to get played with, cuddled and I can tell when she wants to go through to bed because she needs me to come too, and if I have my male mate in then you wouldn’t believe how she acts, talk about green eyed monster!

When she just appears at my legs, after being ‘hid’ most of the day then it’s almost like she is saying ‘hiya’ with miaow and there’s a pleasant tone to it too.

Tortie cats are said to be special, and if I was superstitious then I’d believe she could give me good luck too...She’s my first ever cat and I’ve had her since the 2nd week in October last year, she was just 12 was so was ready to leave her mother, she sort of cried as she left the first owners arms, for mine, but literally 2 minutes after being in my house I have her a pet mouse I had just bought, and the crying immediately stopped and she was happy, she’s been happy ever since. She’s an absolute joy and I never thought I’d love a cat this much, was always more of a dog lover but 12 hour shifts out paid to that & a cat it was, best decision ever.

BlueEyedBengal I would have to refer to Marbs as 'The Only Way Is' in that case.
