He just collapsed hand holding please

He collapsed this evening and can't stand up properly we've just called the vet n they want him brought in immediately I can't go LO in bed I'm beside myself

Oh Cozie so sorry to hear that but you are right

mignonette Don't they just its been an awful few days i keep expecting him to come round the corner when I open the fridge, or to knock me with his nose in the morning for his breakfast or be curled up by the heater

most of all I just miss his presence in the house I want a cuddle and to kiss the top of his head

Again so sorry for your loss but so pleased he gained a peaceful passing without fear or pain. You and the vets gave him a great gift there. A happy life and a happy death.

Im so so sorry. We have lost two of our cats this year and another is currently poorly so I can understand how you are feeling. You did right by him.

my little mans gone they let me hold him on his favourite blanket and stroke his head it was very quick

thank you for your hugs and kinds words this is the first time we have ever had to pts and it was the right decision they showed us the scans it just made me love him more because he'd managed to carry on normally for so long being so poorly

we've got him with us tonight and then we are going to take him tomorrow to the pet crematorium

have uploaded a pic and changed my username in his honour

I think if the vet thought the op would work they would give it a shot.

Do you have someone who can drive you home after? You probably won't be able to do it yourself.

There was nothing to be fought Theboutique. Animals don't understand that kind of thinking. When they are ill they are all instinct and feel vulnerable to attack. In the Wild they would crawl off and hide from predators. You can't 'fight' cancer-you recover or you do not and it is arbitrary. If the will to live and the will to keep somebody or something alive was true then no children would die from it.

You saved your pet from a long drawn out and undignified death my love. It is natural that you will constantly ruminate over what you might have done or not done. This is a part of the process of understanding what has happened. It is awful and painful and confusing. I remember wandering about in a fug, a trance, unable to believe my cat was dead and embarrassed to talk of how I felt in case people thought I was being over dramatic.

You have my heartfelt condolences. These little creatures break our hearts when they die.

I should add - my gran died of a brain tumour. I was with her in the last days (and when she died) and I would have slipped her a dose if I could have.

Remember the good times.

Not so. The specialist vets have said that they would recommend that they end it for him?

Doing that is the kindest thing you can do for him - let him go before it hurts.

Thank you I'm wandering around like a wet weekend can't stop crying I feel like I haven't fought enough for him like I've just given up n said oh tumour that's it then definitely rubbish at this sort of thing

They transferred him to Dick Whites in Cambridge for his tested and he's got a massive brain tumour we are devastated they will operate if we want them to but they think its best PTS
