DDog2 appears to be hurt. He's a 6yr old working cocker and is in rudely good health.
This morning he didn't eat his breakfast (unusual) and is not jumping up (extremely unusual)
He seems "off" and I feel he's likely either twisted or banged his back end. He's seems to be standing a bit awkwardly and is definitely reluctant to move.
Drinking normally, normal pee and poo. Went for a short stroll to the village green and was happy enough pottering about, but definitely not himself. DH has just taken DDog1 out and he's not at all fussed at being left behind (extremely unusual) He's lying down in his box now and just seems mopey and out of sorts.
I feel this does not constitute an emergency appointment (at this time of day we would need to call an emergency vet) but I feel uneasy about leaving him in fairly obvious pain / discomfort until the emergency surgery tomorrow.
Is there anything I can do in the meantime, or should I look at getting him seen earlier?
