Boy Poodle Name Ideas Please!

Our new miniature boy poodle will be joining our family very soon and we are still struggling with names. Our old boy who we lost earlier in the year was Ollie so we are trying to avoid names that feel too similar. I keep thinking we've agreed, then the doubts start creeping in and the dog needs a name! Please help!

Percheron 67 - yes I'm well aware of the correct technical terms but have to say even the vets and groomers seem to use girl and boy these days and personally I prefer them.

Why was that even necessary Percheron

How about Norman? That sounds like an excellent name for a dog.

He has a name! He will be Archie. Can't believe how difficult that was - I swear it was easier to name the DC! Thanks again for all the suggestions.

But what do I know? I called my dogs after places that I loved. Nicky the dog's proper name was Dubrovnik. His brother was very nearly called Bruges.

iklboo - Don't be childish. I adore animals but treating them as children can cause behavioural problems.. I have seen this all too often.

canines are dogs and bitches NOT boys and girls. My GSD is a bitch and my Arab a mare.

Of course. And I hope you never bang your patella getting off your mare or suffer a numb gluteus maximus Grin

Brian.
And then, when you realise one dog is never enough dog, you can get another and call that one Barry.

This is really brilliant - I love Digby, Tarquin, Percy and Horace but the rest of the family aren't so keen. Fred and Archie are definite contenders. This is so exciting! Percheron 67 - yes I'm well aware of the correct technical terms but have to say even the vets and groomers seem to use girl and boy these days and personally I prefer them.
