How long after kennel cough vaccine can dogs be boarded?

Been trying to look it up, some sites say 14 days, others say 7, another says 3-5 days. Does anyone know?

One of my dogs was delayed having it this year because he was on antibiotic eye drops and he had it 7 days before going. Our vet did check with the kennels first if that was ok.

The vaccine is effective 72hours, however, some kennels insist on that the dog is protected in the incubation period of 10 to 14 days.
