Who's Fern's Replacment?

Just heard that its Fern brittons last week on This Morning.

Have they said who her replacement will be yet? I know there was a few rumours doing the rounds.

Oh I don't like Holly Willouby.

She comes across as someone who thought she was auditioning for a stripping, non speaking job in a brothel.
Cover yourself up ffs.

I know who would have been excellent, Alison Hammond. She's compassionate, funny, bright and down to earth.

What Blondeshavemorefun says, plus she was annoyed that she didn't get offered extra gigs from ITV like Dancing on Ice the way Philip did. So he is getting more money in a number of ways.

I thought Fern had a toddler (Winnie?) but she's probably actually about 9 now, come to think of it..

I don't have a particular problem with HW but I just don't see her as being right for this morning. Agree with whoever said on the previous page it should be an older woman. Surely it can't only have been Davina McCall being considered as an over-35 candidate?

from storys you hear fern was pissed off that phil got more money then her so decided to quit

she wanted to spend more time with her children

which does make me laugh as all her children are at school

I do like Holly but she cannot ad lib and she has not got the same rapport with Phil as Fern does. Ach but then I never thought anyone could replace John Leslie with Fern.

I like Holly W, although I'm a bit about her being Fern's replacement, purely because she's stereotypically young and pretty. There are other more mature presenters who would have been very good.

Don't think Davina would have been that great, tbh.

Not that I get the chance to watch This Morning very often.

oh no. She is sooooo wrong on every level. I think Davina would have been a better call.

Agree with Blondissimo......think we can say goodbye to the fabulous giggling and innuendo which made them so popular.

I like her, but I'm not sure we will continue to get the hysterical innuendo and comedy that we did with Phil and Fern..........

she has got the most irriting gravelly, will-you-clear-your-bloody-throat-woman type of voice.

Yes, she's young and pretty, guess that shows how she got the job.
