I thought it was total shit.

I was really looking forward to it as well.

An eleven year old wrote that plot.

I really enjoyed it. JC has always been far fetched. I loved the 'weeping angels' style house, and the dark green duffle coat making a come back. There were huge holes in the plot but I don't care because I love it anyway.

My brain is obviously getting old because dd1 aged nine, whoc didn't even watch the first half, got two of the major clues.

Does anyone know, will there be another episode?

what a disappointment! it has to be the worse one to date. i thought i was too tired to ''get it''? but reading the comments confirm it was just shite!

I thought it was pretty long-winded tbh, but I was diverted to see that Joanna Lumley's lover was Alastair the vet, husband of Shula, in The Archers...Grin.

Seams like it wad just very badly thought out. Lits of ideas glued together.

Ooops and I've totally just spoiled it all for you! Sorry...

Thanks for the wishes. Still in hospital. Still hoping to be out before the next Jonathan Creek special Grin

Anyone know why she didn't just throw the head out the window with the clothes? Or would it have been too messy?

They worked it out because there wasn't room for the cistern or something like that! Brilliant.

Skeleton was clever. All they found was sponge crumbs

I missed the crazy vain American illusionist.

LockNo9

It was great! It was in a bunker on a cliff-type setting. I can't remember why but the man bricked himself in behind a new wall in the toilet!!!!

Totally bonkers.

It represented everything that's great about JC Grin

I must have missed the skeleton carrying someone in to a garage though!

I think the head went in the globe where miraculously it didn't leak or stain it at all and then it went somewhere else where the dodgy coppers looked or didn't look who knows which may have been a freezer or not, fuck knows

Report
PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 01/04/2013 23:24

Also, wouldn't somebody have noticed the 'petrol' didn't smell?

Often repeated on watch on sky

On tonight - midnight - the Judas tree - series link them if you fancy a bit of jc

So the DVD was a hoax but they thought it was real so killed him but fiddling with the screw on the chainsaw

So basically it was the lovers fault (doc) as he blabbed what he saw to his golf buddy

Did she put his head in the freezer?

The bit where the daughter said 'Amazingly I had time to clear it all up before the Police came' was rather a low point in the suspension-of-disbelief stakes.

It was meant to be a satire I think, but somebody panicked and thought it was real? Quite what what's-his-name who was murdered had to do with it though I wasn't quite sure. He'd have added wit, so improving the script or something?

And why did the doctor click on a video on his employer's computer anyway? Confused

usualsuspect · 01/04/2013 23:12

I didn't really understand the DVD bit. I was a bit disappointed with all of it.which is a shame because I love it usually.

LineRunner · 01/04/2013 23:09

Yes, what was all that about the DVD?
