Does anyone know if we will get the new series of the Good Wife in the UK?

It usually starts about this time of year but I have not seen any mention of it this year Sad

Does anyone happen to know the start date? The Good Wife premiere is my favourite thing about January!

I loved it, dear old Zack confused but wanting to do the right thing. I love the law!! I will miss it so much. Is there a scandal thread??

Have just seen the finale. Wow, that was epic! Next year will be very interesting, presumably with time split between Florrick Agos and Lockhart Gardner (and all the court battles that will ensue).

Nice to see breastfeeding promoted too Grin I just love Patty Nyholm.

I didn't quite understand what is going on with Jackie's nurse though. The concerns about him seemed to come out of nowhere.

When and where Scandal on?

What are we going to do without Alicia and Co until it comes back?

It was a great ending. I was surprised Will didn't grass on Peter who I thought was being a dick but no change there. Maybe Alicia wanted a bit of space from him.

Hopefully this doesn't mean less Diane time. She is awesome.

The judge yesterday made me giggle and so did the rival lawyer whose baby seemed to disappear half way through the episode.

Thought it was a cracking finale too. Plenty for the next series to work on. Will vs Alicia in court with Diane presiding?
I'm going to try Scandal I think to fill the hole that this leaves.

Excellent finale! Setting up for good drama next series. Bah to having to wait with nothing decent to watch in the meantime.

Wish I had as good a wardrobe!

Scandal is back when good wife finishes I think.

What are we going to do when the Good Wife is over? Thankfully I have Netflix and 24 to entertain me.

Really don't like the going back to Peter storyline, no proper reasons shown, except that she doesn't want to be like her mum.

I worry that I'm a bit like patty nyholm at work! Blush

Yes - last episode. I'm delighted to see that Martha Plimpton is back, love her as Patty Nyholm.

BSM really, you think he'll propose? that would be a good cliffhanger I suppose.

I've warmed to Owen, used to irritate me but I like him now.

Think it may be the last episode this week Sad

I think that Will might be gearing up to propose to Alicia.

I like Owen too. He was funny at the start.

Go Alicia's mum. She has sense.

I wonder if Cary will set up his new company. Next series would be good if he did. I think we see more of him when he is an adversary to Lockhart Gardener and that has to be a good thing.

I quite like the new investigator and hope they bring back Amanda Peet and the fact that she split up with Will doesn't mean she is gone for good.

Further urgh-ing that Alicia would consider renewing vows with Peter. WHY?

Seems like they might be setting Alicia up to consider going with Cary - whilst hopefully still getting together with Will to avoid the horror of being married to Peter.

I think its all shaping up nicely for the next series.

Cary will have set up rival firm - they need a new adversary as MJFox's Parkinson's is getting too advanced.

Diane's going to get the Judge job and that'll cause probs when Will's up in front of her as she's got to fall out with him and his reputation before getting the job.

Think new detective girl will be standing in for Kalinda as she goes off on different different acting jobs for next season (she's in The Fall at the mo).

Think the Will/Alicia story is wet and will be sidestepped for other storylines next series.

That's my twopenny's worth anyway

I didn't know there was a thread for this and I find out two weeks before the end of the series Angry

I really hope that Daine gets married to Gary Cole's character, [sorry. memory lapse!] I think they are very good together.

I didn't understand the shivering either.

I'm sure someone has said this a few times, but the wardrobe department is doing a fab job - Alicia wears some seriously smart separates!

Maybe she's coming down with a touch of flu....wish she would just get it on with Will!

Report
SlatternismyMiddlename · 08/06/2013 20:39

I wondered that too Raven - I felt that I had missed a scene, especially as she was so rattled when her daughter said Will phoned.

I though I was good episode but was a bit disappointed at a quick ending.

Why was Alicia shivering?

Oh Alicia does have sense and is looking at Will.

Cary is going to get found out soon. I hope he is in the next series.

I keep on wondering if they're setting us up for an alcoholic storyline with the constant focus on Alicia's red wine habit. More likely they're just trying to show a realistic portrayal of a harried working mother in a high powered job! Grin

Really wondering about Dianne, check shirt guy and marriage...

And the Will-Amanda Peet storyline went nowhere fast. What was even the point?

No! not imo, anyway. Ropey and far too thin
