Jenk, if you are around - if you have cable or Sky, I have just noticed (while looking for some CSI episodes!) that UKTV G2 is re showing old Spooks episodes - it looks like possibly series 1. I think it's on at around 1.10am so you would have to set the video for it - it's on Wed and Thurs nights.

i only discovered this programme this series and havent seen any of the earlier ones, me and dh got right into it, can you buy the earlier series of spooks on dvd does anyone know?

Yep, gf ! MM I think played a more convincing character IMHO. Believably sharp, and ever-so-slightly-twisted by the job IYSWIM. Not sure Rupert has quite captured that... although maybe that's the way it's meant to be... allows the character the scope to betray the team, LOL...

bsg - sorry, didn't tape it, just watched live. Maybe there's a repeat on at some point soon on another channel ?

Does anyone have a tape of last nights spooks. Its for my mum, she was up at 3.30am on an early shift yesterday morning and fell asleep on the couch after the first 10 minutes. I believe it was the last in the series.

gf - tell your bro I think he's a very gifted screenwriter then. It's the only decent thing on the telly, really. I also feel the plots seem v. v. 'edgy' / tinged with currrent affairs in a rather bold way. OK, some of the tech and PC screenshots are a little Hollywood, but overall the characters and the way the stories are paced is genius. I reckon he also must be supported by some v. talented editors... each show is so tight. Well done that man.

Oh, is it just me ? I prefer the old lead intelligence officer - can't remember actor's or character's name ? Thought he was excellent... I never could get over the 'lack of trust' when Pretty Boy turned up, LOL.

Blimey, no idea this thread had kicked off last Friday until I saw it in Active Convos tonight! There is NO WAY that Adam can be dead. Admittedly, the blood pouring out of his mouth didn't look good, but he can't go... can he? It says on the website it's not back until late 2006 fgs.
