Here

Cheap, certainly... But nasty? Probably. I might be prepared to chance it, but wondered if anyone else was a sucker customer?

I would have thought so, BOF. Time will tell... Am still happy with it though; it's the perfect size for me and all my crap.

Will that affect how well it lasts?

Oh, but in the interests of accuracy, the leather is actually painted and not dyed.

Bag is going great Smile

Yes, it's currently lugging around enough baby and 4yo crap to see us through a long train journey this afternoon.

How's the bag going tethers? Very tempted to order one today whilst lying in bed ill.... Do you think its strong enough to carry around all the usual mummy/toddler crap?

Doh. You have already reported your news. My bosses always used to say I lack attention to detail. Blush

God, but its lovely

No, honest, it's really light.

My only criticism of it is the exposed zip at the top looks a bit cheap. But it's practical, so I can live with it.

Are you sure it's not too heavy? My shoulder is knackered, but it looks so lovely...

This is my work bag, so size is perfect for me, Arisbottle. It has taken me a while to find one big enough Grin

50p- you wear your bag like me!

I shall be throwing the detachable strap away- it's really only to make it into a cross-body bag. The (one) handle fits over one shoulder with room to spare even with a coat on and you can put it on one handed. It has a front flap pocket which you can access with the hand of the arm/shoulder carrying the bag (hope that makes sense)

Damn you and your bag hunting!

Couple of questions ... Does the short handle easily fit over a coat? Is the handle long enough to only use one arm to put it onto your shoulder (does that make sense)? Is there a pocket on the outside for tube tickets? Is there one shoulder strap or two? Can you get your hand into the bag whilst its on your shoulder?

Ok that was more than a couple of questions,

I am not sure if it may be a bit big for me. Although at a4 I could fit in my notebook.

I tell a lie, the leather is in fact dyed through.

Ok, it has arrived... And I'm very happy!

It is most definitely a copy-silver hardware and painted rather than dyed leather, but the exact dark tan colour in the pic. It is light, the leather is good if a little thin, but it is lined and sturdy. The size is perfect- can easily fit an A4 folder and other work bits inside, there's mobile phone pockets, the strap is just the right length and very comfy (it also comes with a detachable shoulder strap shown in the pic of the model wearing it), and everything is securely attached.

Overall, I'd say it was high street quality and definitely worth the money. If I'd paid more I'd still be pleased. I have a couple of Jaeger bags and I'd say it was on a par with them for quality.

I think... I have found my bag Smile

Don't you have to factor in the cost of the flight to china as well though?
