EE have asked us to find out what the strangest thing is Mumsnetters have ever been asked to share.

my DD is constantly trying to 'share' my stuff - be it make up, hair products, nice perfume, yummy grown up puddings. Though by share I really mean pilfer

The toilet on a drunken night out many years ago...a random girl wanted to share the cubicle with me (not something I do btw...not into all that!) but for some reason I said yes... I realised afterwards it was because she didn't want to queue and I was at the front but in my drunken state thought it was a good deed. Never shared again... I nearly peed myself waiting for her to finish! haha

My DS went to primary School in a rural village school. His best friend lived in a beautiful country manor house with a cook, nanny and stables full of horses. I was chatting to his mum about how difficult it was to go on holiday as we needed someone to check on our chickens. (We had around 10 at the time) Oh she exclaimed, " We have the same problem. We need someone to see to the horses. Perhaps we could employ someone to feed your chickens and look after our horses and share the cost". She was serious! Lovely person but no idea about 'how the other half live'!

My clothes is a favourite of mine to share. I go to a formal dinner once a year. I own some lovely monsoon/coast/debut creations and rarely wear them more than once (luckily I get them on ebay so they don't cost too much). My friend has borrowed many a dress for a special occasion from Boutique 2kids.

I've been asked to share a table in a restaurant when we were on touring holiday. The request might not seem that strange, nor the fact the two lads we were asked to share with we're the closest in age to us in the group. But my goodness dragging a conversation out of them was the hardest small talk I've ever endured. I have even been complimented by friends in the past for my small talk chat abilities. However, they were well and truly tested to the limit that night.

my honeymoon! to be fair we had booked the hol to see a friend of DH's in Canada way before we decided to get married but it was odd when part of the trip involved some touring and we shared a room with him (seperate beds) NOT quite the sex laden hol I had imagined

Was at a festival when a friend of a friend asked me if I had any tampons. I told I was sorry but I used a mooncup. She only asked if I had it with me, because she'd always been curious about them anyway

I said no. There are some things that really should remain single user.

My dog always wants to share my food with him. But he is a Labrador, so to be expected.

My toddler wants to share anything I have... my bra(!), the toilet when I am on it, my food, my iPad....

The most strange thing was when I went back to uni and went on a residential after the first month. I was asked to share a room, possibly bed, with a stranger. Erm... No thanks.

My lunch. Our clinic ran over (not unusual) and the canteen was shut. Unfortunately it was a public holiday and the tea room and little shop weren't open. I was the only one with a packed lunch but we found some cup a soups and had a few bites each!

Very similar to some of the others, my size 10 toned friend asked to borrow a pair of my tights last weekend, I'm a size 22 and at least 6 inches shorter than her. She still took them even when I pointed out they would be too big

Ugh! The toothbrush sentence bought back some horrible memories of having to share a toothbrush with my then boyfriend who had forgotten his when staying over at mine one evening. I had planned to not use it again but forgot and realised a couple of days later. Nice! Nothing stranger than that comes to mind unfortunately.

I shared tartiflette with someone in a restaurant. Jolly nice it was too, but you could only get it for two and no-one on the guy's next to me's table wanted to share with him. So, I stepped in, even though I didn't know him. It was a little weird 'breaking the bread' with a stranger, but it was a lovely dish, and I didn't catch any germs, as far as I know. .
