Smart Phone Monitoring Advice

I have a 13 year old daughter who is autistic. I would like to monitor her phone activity because I think it's sensible - especially as she has expressed an interest in horror films. I've got all the age filters I can put on her devices and the home wifi, but I feel that it would be responsible to know who she's talking to and what she's writing etc. I know that she will work out how to disable or bypass anything I put on there (she managed to block Family Link!) but looking for something that can secretly monitor the phone is a minefield - does anyone know of a reliable app which I can install secretly? I wouldn't normally advocate for secrecy but I think in this case it is the responsible option for a child who I have to manage quite carefully.

I wouldn’t do anything covertly but my children know their phones aren’t private in the way you describe. What I say is I buy it and pay for it but it’s like talking in our sittingroom so not to say or do anything that they wouldn’t want me to see. When they get to about 16 I just stop as they are semi adult. One of my children lacks capacity so has child settings etc but he only hangs out on CBeebies anyway. I don’t let his phone receive calls/texts from outside our family as his siblings chatter away to him in between their lives and he doesn’t really have friends.

Thank you - good advice! I've been thinking about it a bit more today and had a chat with her.
