Carers allowance/DLA query

Morning my little boy has just been offered a school place, he has been at home not in a setting. Do I need to notify carers and DLA? He is in receipt of High rate care from DLA, thank you x

No you don't.

No. Those benefits aren’t based on if you are in education or not. Unless you are no longer caring for him outside of school you should easily meet the threshold.

The previous posts are correct as long as it isn’t a residential school, but if it is a residential placement you must inform DWP.
