Please don't remove this MNHQ!

I am a very regular poster but this blog outs me completely so I am posting the link under a namechange - I am sure many can hazard a guess.

My blog is under construction here but I would welcome your thoughts. I am happy to add a parents' stories page if people would like to share anonymised stories.

I have other lawyers who are in the process of adding tips/info to it and several other firms confirming the free initial consultation.

I hope it will be of use to parents starting out - that is its only purpose!!

Oh and a big thank you for a poster (can't remember who Blush ) who suggested the name ages ago.

Let me have your thoughts - I value them greatly.

Had more thoughts

  • How about a Just for Fun section, inviting contributions on LA/school/professional "speak"

  • What to expect, eg ADI, ADOS, OT, etc

Wow! That's amazing.

Such a relief to see it. Will be pointing people to it regularly.

I know this is really a superficial 'like' but I really do like that picture at the top of the SA bit. It's so illustrative.

Had a careful look now. Can't find anything missing so far that I would suggest, it's really succinct and useful. I know that's not helpful, and promise I will look harder for something to improve Grin

Star, yay to moved Thanks Wine

YAY - Star has moved in and has got forks! It's all you need for chips!

I am changing some of the photos or hanging back on them for a moment as I suddenly had a panic about copyright. Arrghh, I'm new at this game.

Been chasing people for permission. Not sure how you get it as I can't find the original image creator for some of them.

Thanks for your feedback - keep those thoughts coming. Grin

Star I actually liked the 'SEN Panel says no' best. By sheer coincidence the name of the character is particularly apt!

Summerloading - sorry I meant to say, thanks! It would be good to have a 'parents speak' section and a 'children speak' too as well as a 'the things they say....'

Anyone going to get us started! Here or PM me.

In the next generation version you should be able to customise the page you see so Carol's name Badge can be changed to the name of choice!?

I've read most of it now though some was a bit hard as raw truth I'd rather not have to think about any longer. But being reminded is good and I hope will keep me motivated in the small things I do to chip away.

I'll read a bit more this week over my chips and think. I think the TA hours/quality might need more/own section. There is research on this.

Great! I've bookmarked it. I've only skim read so far but will give it more time later. Only suggestion so far is that the meanings for SMART targets, for attainable and realistic, I think they are too similar. I prefer attainable (or achievable) and relevant. The target should be something that the child actually needs to be able to do, not just something that they can achieve, which is also important, of course.

I think it looks great but may be worth a disclaimer that you specialise in English SEN law. The system is very different in Scotland. I just think you'll get lots of linkies and traffic from here and I'd hate a Scottish parent to go through all the (amazing!) info you have and then find it won't really help them. (Although of course some of it will!)

I do think it's brilliant though.

Ellen - fab thank you. I will change that!!!

Wilson - another excellent point I will put a disclaimer on the first page!
