Hello, do any of you have experience of Riverston College in Eltham South London?

Our LA are suggesting it for our highly academic daughter who is doing A Levels. There is woefully little information about the college or school on their website.

I have heard of Riverston. I know of two DC who have gone there and have been very happy. I didn't know it offered A levels though as I did think it was geared more towards a focus on life skills rather than academic qualifications. However I do know they've changed head teachers recently so maybe they are looking at attracting students with a wider range of profiles.

Have you booked an appointment to look at the school?

What sort of support does your DD require at school? What are her barriers to learning? Thomas Tallis sixth form is outstanding and has a good record of pastoral care but it's very large (over 400 intake in Yr12 this year) so may not be suitable.
Would you consider a grammar like Townley?
