Hi,

I need to lose about 5st and am building up to going back to SW - I've lost and regained the weight so many tims. Yeah, proof that a diet, even if they do call it a 'lifestyle' usually has temporary results. BUT, I'm comfortable with SW and know it works for me.

I have been diagnosed with binge eating and been through some pretty horrendous experiences over the last three years. Hence my clothes all being tight again and the smaller wardrobe stashed under my bed.

So, advice please. What's it like doing it online? Do you get a book posted to you? I like having a real solid book. Or, with these online groups I see people referring to here. Is it possible to join one of these? The upfront fee for doing it online is pretty hefty.

I've lost 10lbs in lockdown and the zoom meetings have been a big incentive and motivator for me. Give it a go and see how you get on

Thanks all. The zoom meetings sound the way to go then. Good luck to you all with your ambitions. Weight loss and everything.

Hi, I am a current member and in a really good place now, but I have lots to lose. I love the zoom meetings, it’s a bit of routine Which is great. Good luck in your journey

Oh and good luck too - I have 5 stone to lose and am a little overwhelmed by the thought of the journey - one day at a time though I guess!

I joined on Tuesday. I got access to the SW website, app and online zoom meetings. I was told the book/ pack would be posted out to me in the next few days. It cost ÂŁ2.50 to join and post the book out and ÂŁ2.50 per week for the zoom meeting.

Yes, I was, thanks Blondie. I've moved away from where I was and no longer can access the service.. When (if ever!) we get some sort of normality in life and the NHS, I can pick up again. In the meantime, I'm on medication and think that addressing one of my stressors - my weight - would be of benefit.

Are you getting support with the binge eating? It sounds like that is the first thing you need to focus on if you’re going to make any long term, changes
