I'm pregnant, can I do Slimming World?

I have just found out I'm pregnant - massive shock!! I was rejoining SW tomorrow night as I wanted to lose 2 stone, is it safe? Or is it pointless to even attempt to lose weight whilst pregnant?

You can do it, it is safe. However you shouldn't expect to lose 2 stone when pregnant, I think that's unrealistic. I lost 4 stone before I was pregnant and continued to attend and follow the SW plan as much as possible when pregnant. I'm due next week, I've gained just under 2 stone but the main thing for me is that I won't be starting all over again after the baby, i'll just be continuing with the plan and will see the weight come off again. So it's more of a mental thing, if you see what I mean.

Congratulations. Yes you can but I believe you need your midwives approval. In fact my friend who's recently found out she's pregnant has been asked to consider SW to bring her BMI down by her midwife.

Im currently on the plan (not pregnant) i wouldn't see any reason why not as its healthy eating and yoi still get your full range of foods. If anything you will be doing wonders for baby and you! Ive lost 2 stone in my journey and love the plan
