Hi,
My boy is 25 weeks and we have been gently weaning him for a couple of weeks (a bit of porridge, once or twice a day). He has on average 5/6 bottles of milk a day - about 180ml (but he won't always take this much). He's fed around 8am, 11am, 2pm, 5pm, 7:30pm (before bed). I try and put cool boliled water into some of his milks too.
He then wakes up for feeding at about 10:30pm, 1am, 4am and wakes for the day at 6am. We've tried withholding milk sometimes but he just goes bonkers. He sleeps in a cot in our room - maybe he's ready for going into his nursery. He'll drink full bottles at night and is difficulat to settle after 1am. We make sure we wind him. He is teething - we give calpol atc... He's always been a hyper, wiggly baby and not slept well but I think it's time to take action. He settles well at 7:30pm and has a nice routine.
Any suggestions v grateful!
