I know I've been away for a bit, but where did this come from in my absence??

tbh, I do find it a bit distasteful to have it there.

not wishing to be controversial at all. But v. curious.

scootergrrl. As I said at the beginnig, which seems a very long time ago, I find a "military" presence on MN distasteful, every time I open it up. I object to it, but given that I don't own the site, accept it isn't bespoke to my preferences. And I DO see a hugh difficulty in reconciling(sp
) the "values" of MN with membership/association of an organisation that travels the world killing people (who are families). Yes, when not taken up with duties they do other peripheries. But that doesn't excuse anything. I don't click on FS, no interest in doing so. So do please get on with supporting each other.

DJ - I returned to provide some non-controversial information. You are such a childish arsehole. >

and the Army when there are ops that are their speciality and the Navy when their expertise is called for.

Can't see anyone turning the RAF away last night on a point of principle or becasue they don't like the armed forces can you.

Well done to all your dh's/dp's/dw's for the flippin difficult jobs they all do xxxx

Back again, Pan?

You say 'bye' but you don't mean it,
you call people 'paid child killers' but apparently you don't mean it -
do you actually stand by anything you post
or is it all a bit of trolly fun?

Or maybe it's dawned on you that your
'lesbian/gay/transgenered friends' would
be stoned to death in a world ruled by
the kind of people NN would like us to feel empathy for.

Finally grasped why we need an army? Good. At ease.

Scootergrrrrl and ll- thank goodness for the likes of your husbands last night eh in leeds, Sheffield and surrounding areas affected by the floods. Don't know where people would have been without the RAF last night (sorry if I have the wrong force for your dh's but I am saying- for the likes of- as I'm sure the army would be called in if it was their area of expertise.)

Really didn't want to restart this but seeing as how you have I thought I'd get my tuppence in Hope that's ok. God bless xxx

This is my last question (or I'll try to make it my last question)
Pan and Nightynight, do you object to the forces sweethearts section because:
a) You don't think we, as forces wives, should be on here?
b) You don't think we should have a special section of our own?
c) Of the slightly flippant name?

One letter answers will suffice...

" it makes my blood boil that a couple of people on here would deny his family any support because they don't agree with the government's decision to take the country to war. "

that is indeed outrageous. Tell me who they are, where they said this, and I will be right with you.
