Whenever i navigate around the app it takes me to a browser and then complains the address
Sorry, the website ads1.mumsnet.com cannot be found.

Oh my app won't open now. Says its offline. Bloody hell. So having to use safari. At least I get my colours back...

Yes - my device gives me a message only that the App couldn't connect with Musmnet which is not wildly explanatory.

That has now been superseded. The old App has already been zapped.

I don't know about the mobile site, I'm afraid. I have to assume it's working fine?

Part of a very recent post from SarahMumsnet so you're all aware of it.

'We're going to take the app offline as of midnight tonight, as we can't be sure it's secure. We'll be launching a new one using https in a few weeks, and in the meantime, we'd encourage everyone to use our mobile site instead. Sorry to all the app users for the inconvenience.'

She should be posting a thread about it shortly.

I had this. The only way I got the app to work again was to delete it and reinstall it.

Hi Becca, definitely all fixed here. It looked like the app was trying to reach an ad server, but couldn't resolve the fully qualified domain name.

Did you by any chance install Win 10 on something, RedYellaGreen - or contemplate doing so? I suspect that my App knows that I have a somewhat fractious relationship with my new Win 10 software and is playing Goody Two Shoes for a while. There's a definite whiff of smug 'Well if you will reject me for that!.........' in the air.

The old app is working (apart from discussion of the day, which tries - and fails - to load threads I'm watching!) but the new app has been down since the first attack.
