Hankies for a little boy

Try as I might I can't get ds to wipe his nose on anything but his sleeve.

I buy tissues by the bucket load, but ds says he doesn't like the feel of them (I have bought every variety under the sun, but if it comes out of a little packet he refuses to use it).

So, does anyone sell charachter handkerchiefs or some such, to help us break this horrible sleeve habit?

I know, I'm a wimp mother

Easy, I saw some little boy hankies in a pound shop near me the other day. I'm not sure what they had on them but they were bright cartoony pictures.

If you like I will get them and send them to you - at a pound for a pack of six it wouldn't matter then if he lost them! I'm sure they won't be wonderful quality but a wash with fabric softener would sort them out.

Let me know if you're interested - I'm in town again tomorrow

That sounds exactly the right sort of thing, and as you say, not too drastic if lost.

Yes please.

I thought big boy's hankies might be a bit bulky in his trouser pocket (hes 5 1/2 btw)

Hiya Easy, got the hankies for you! Unfortunately I had got myself a bit confused - the cartoony ones were mens, not boys, and come in packs of two - I got two packs for you, one pack with Taz on and one pack with Wallace and Grommit on - the cartoons are embroidered on and look quite nice. I have CATed you so you should have my email addy - send me your snail mail address and I'll pop them in the post for you!
