Any great secondary schools in Dorset?

That's it really. We love Christchurch/Milford etc but the secondary schools just seem so average compared to others we are considering. Sorry if that appears rude. I don't mean to be.

Hello Backagainitseems, have just been reading this thread. I wondered where you decided to settle and which school you decided on? We moved to Lymington last December from New Zealand. It is lovely and our son is happy at the local junior school. We may need to move nearer to Bournemouth and are thinking about Christchurch/Mudeford/Hengistbury Head. We are keen on Twynham but the catchment is quite narrow and living in Hengistbury Head may not guarantee our son a place. Where are you now and what have been your experiences? Does anyone else have advice on the areas and getting into Twynham? What is St Peter's Catholic Secondary like? However we are not Catholic or church goers so it may be tricky to get in. We also have a preschooler that we need to consider. I like the look of St Katherine's Primary. What are Christchurch Junior and The Priory like? Thanks for any advice!
