She's meal planning! Keeping a record of all outgoings!

Next she'll be on S&B looking for a dress for a posh London wedding....

Are Hellinnn and the baby in a cupboard ? Which is the way all soap S.Ws deal with babies, not adults usually Grin

Oh fgs didn't we all know that Susan and Neil would come to the rescue of Emmur and Ed? Why did it take sooo long (yawn)

Clearly Leonie's employers are delighted to get rid of her for a few weeks!

I think Brenda might get upduffed and then suffer PND and then Tom might have to think about something other than sausage-based ready meals.

Anyway, no-one has even attempted to explain to DrinkFeck who Emma is, so here goes:

She is a uniquely irritating young woman on the Archers who is apparently irrisistable to men, having married one man (Will), slept with his brother (Ed) on her hen night, getting pregnant by Will but telling Will the baby (now 7 year old George) was Ed's, driving Ed to become a homeless heroin addict (now cured), before he returned and suggested that she, Ed and George ran off to France to stop any pesky concerns about access arrangements. Did I mention that Ed had previously nearly killed her by drink driving? Also that Emma has only recently seen her uncle try to burn down the farmyard in which her family lives. Also that her mother was sentenced to prison after her other uncle held up the village post-office and then went on the run, persuading the mother to conceal him. Emma doesn't much like Nic, Will's new partner, due to Nic's most exciting storyline being the time she went to a talk on using food leftovers at the WI with Will and Ed's mother.

I hope that Brenda doesn't get upduffed. I'm no great fan of Brenda but she doesn't deserve to be stuck with Tom. No-one deserves to be stuck with Tom! With the exception, maybe, of the equally obnoxious Leonie. Talking of whom, what has happened to her 'career'? Who gets extended compassionate leave because an ex-boyfriend broke his leg?Hmm
I can sympathise with Brenda giving up the commute from Ambridge to (?was it) Nottingham. It is over an hour each way and the M42 past the NEC is hell at any time of day. She should have relocated and dumped Tom while she was at it
I agree with an earlier comment that I cannot believe that Bridge Farm can support four adults.

Brenda is sooo going to dump Tom and get a proper job in the big city.

Brenda has entirely stuffed up her life really - she has no career and she's put her entire life on hold for a knobhead who uses her like a career counsellor

I keep thinking that Brenda's going to get upduffed
She gave up her big career chance cos the commute was too hard.
where is your spine woman?!

No, Pip's clearly going to marry Spencer and go and live on a farm conveniently located over the hill, leaving the way clear for Josh to run Brookfields and Pip just to pop back when they need her for plot purposes.

Don't forget Pip Grendel!

But generally I agree - they are drifting about.

Yes I know that Will is the Gamekeeper and not Ed, was answering a question about why Will has more money than Ed has.

Sadly know about the reality of dairying, the lovely man who lives across the road has lost two of his jobs recently as both farms he works for have sold their herd.

All the young women in Ambridge (except Alice and Fallon - and Helen if she's still around) are driving me up the wall at the moment. Why do they have so little career ambition? WTF is Kirsty doing, faffing around in Jaxx's Caff? Why can't Emma do anything other than clean Ruth's house for a couple of hours? WTF does Brenda think she's doing, making coffee for Matt and Lilian?

Okay, I'm also going to make an exception for Hayley, except she's clearly going to to be given the chop shortly.

Ed isn't a gamekeeper, that's Will. ed is in dairy farming and milk delivery, and has lost money there.

Don't think they are claiming any benefits tho

I'm almost 30 young! Hmm

Report
DorsetKnob · 15/11/2012 21:00

Do they not claim any TC or WTC?

Gamekeepering is quite a well paid job and in this case he doesn't have to pay rent and his vehicle will be provided.

I reckon that if Emma Bunton sold that massive flat she has in Hampstead, she wouldn't need to go to the food bank Wink

Poor Emma Bunton, heading down to the food bank and running into her mother...

I actually felt a bit sorry for emmur last night until she moaned about nic and will not being hard up. Come on love -you shagged your husband's brother, told him that his child wasn't his and planned to run off with said child so will would never see him again.

And breathe.

Not sure how much spare cash susan and neil have though . . . I reckon emmur will be back living with her parents by christmas
