Bugaboo footmuffs - Do I really need to spend £90?

I'm on the hunt for a footmuff for my Bugaboo Bee. DS has suddenly outgrown the cocoon and as the weather is getting cooler I need to get one ASAP.

Do I really need to get a Bugaboo footmuff or can anyone recommend a comparable product that is less expensive?

Or if only a Bugaboo footmuff will do where's the best place to buy one?

All opinions welcome!

I saw someone in town recently with a yellow Bee and an absolutely gorgeous footmuff which she said she had custom ordered online, I have no idea where from, but it looked absolutely fantastic!

Yes agree it is a dreadful name but they do seem to have some nice bits and very competively priced.

I googled them before I bought and I found a thread on here recommending them.

oh weird re thatcuteage - I do hate the name but I have ended up buying a lot of baby stuff from there (sleeved bibs, smart blankets as gifts etc) as they are always competitively priced in google shopping - I thought it was only me keeping them in business...

Thanks everyone. I have just bought a black buggy snuggle from www.thatcuteage.com.

I also got a Grobag in their sale because I have no self control

But all for about the same price as a second hand Bee footmuff and much, much less than a new one.

I prefer the Bee footmuff on the Bee, but you do have to button them on under the hood which is a pain if you like to swap over a lot. But they fit so nicely and no chance of slipping.
But yes to price, you'd be lucky to get a second hand one under £40 posted.

DogAgain an excellent idea. I have had a look on the classifieds but couldn't spot anything easily so posted a wanted. Have had a look at ebay but I think £40 inclu postage is a bit steep for a second hand one.

Any more bright ideas out there?
