Does anyone have a Babyzen yoyo+ newborn nest?

I've just set up the newborn nest of the baby zen yoyo+ and the straps that go around the babies side look really close together to me. They're just 8cm apart, so I can't see how the baby won't be lying on them which seems like it would be uncomfortable for a new baby. I've tried to look online and the pics look like there should be a bigger gap, but I can't tell if I'm looking at the yoyo or the yoyo+.

Does anyone have the babyzen yoyo+ with newborn attachment who can verify this looks like it should do? I'm wondering if I've set it up wrong.
