As I am close to tears here.

Have spent my entire budget on a 2nd hand one and I think it's broken.

I can't get the chassis to lock into place, as soon as the frame is up and it looks like it's ok if you move it the front wheels start to fold in again.

Am i missing something?

Worst case aprons are a few pounds on Ebay. Dont stress about it :) Sell yours and buy another!

Aaaahh right, I see the pockets now!

Thank you.

Now just to sort out the squint apron

But part of the straps are stitched around the chassis, there is no way I can see to get them off without cutting them (which I obviously won't do)

I've got the carry cot on but the apron is sitting all squint, I can't get it to sit flush.

I dont think you do. You are meant to post them into the small pockets near the handle.
Here are all the instructions You need Page 18 point e for the waist belt in pocket picture.

I think I remember the fabric being very tight fitting. a snug fit. You might need to put your back into it to get it off the frame :)

So is it currently set up for a child and you want to change for a baby? I think the straps are tied on yes, there are no straps when its in carry cot mode - the straps stay with the seat part

The harness straps are stitched around the frame?

How do I get them off?

Ok thanks everyone, feel a right plonker now!

Can't work out how to get the seat cover off, does the whole lot inc the 5 point harness come off?

I absolutely love my Cameleon and wouldnt change it for the world. there are loads of videos

Watch this one

There is one seat frame and the carry cot attaches, then at 5-6 months you take that fabric off and put the seat fabric on instead.

You can get pdf instructions online if you haven't got any - just google.

Yes, the seat attaches to the black frame that the carry cot is currently attached to. So the carry cot bit (the one with the board) attaches to the frame using the velcro bits - the you can put the hood on.

When you want to make it a seat for when baby is older - unvelcro the carry cot and velcro on the seat.

That is as complicated as it gets! I think you just need to get used to it, it's a brilliant pram!

It isn't very intuitive but once I got used to it I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything else. Give it a chance

Ah, you've fixed it. It's really not complicated at all once you're used to it. To make the carrycot you have to take the seat fabric off and velcrow the carrycot fabric on- again, a bit fiddly but you'll only ever do it once (or twice I suppose). I love our Frog (older model of the cameleon) it's light as a feather to push.

As below, the chassis doesn't actually lock, you have to put the seat frame onto it, then it should be good to go.

No Blush but now you've told me I've tried it and it seems to be ok.

I really don't like this pram, it's so complicated! While your here can you tell me if the "carry cot" attaches to the seat frame for newborns?

My old iCandy had seperate carry cot/buggy seat but i can't see how this thing goes together!

Once you have clicked on the seat or carry cot, it should all be locked into place.

Have you put the seat or carry cot on the chassis once its up? It doesn;t lock properly until the seat or carry cot is on.
