Bugaboo bee wheels get stuck

Hi, I've been using my Bugaboo Bee Plus for about 5 weeks now and the front wheels keep getting stuck in odd positions (ie, both often get stuck sideways when I want to go forwards and no amount of pushing backwards and forwards will get them into the right position). I just wondered whether other people have this problem with their Bees or whether my wheels are faulty. I bought it online so can't really just take it back to a shop for them to look at.

Thanks in advance!

I'm so glad we bought ours from an excellent independent retailer. They did all the chasing with Bugaboo for us. We actually had another fault immediately prior to the wheels getting stuck, and they dealt with that too.

All of this on top of giving us a stonking deal when we bought it in the first place (compared to any of the high street stores).

As if last week, our Bee has the new/old wheels, IYSWIM, with the washers, and all appears to be well. But the Bee is definitely in the Last Chance Saloon now, with us anyway.

I am having the biggest row with bugaboo over this. Now that it has finally been in the press I am hoping they will pull their finger out and replace my bee. I have tried to explain that sending new wheels is not good enough - when I bought the bee they never told me that I would need a "service set" I expected it to work as advertised on their website. I'm not giving up!!

I was lucky enough to have a good experience with John Lewis and my Bugaboo Bee. Since I bought it in January they have replaced the chassis, all 4 wheels (the front ones went haywire as per the usual complaints, and I got the back ones stuck in tube escalators twice, also apparently common with the bee plus) and finally, when I couldn't open the seat as it was stuck fast, the whole buggy. They let me choose another buggy and refunded the difference. I got the Maclaren XT, which is a dream in comparison, and 260 quid change! Needless to say, I would not recommend the Bugaboo Bee plus and I've been telling everyone to buy their buggy from John Lewis.

Think the new stock is out for delivery in about 4 weeks according to a pram shop on Facebook.

When I went to enquire about buying
One shop mentioned it- reckon they have resolved it on newer stock but also said they were good about fixing it.

It's a known issue - you can register your complaint and order new wheels direct from Bugaboo - details are here Details and the order form is here Order

Hi

We bought the bugaboo Bee in June from John Lewis. We are now awaiting a 3rd bugaboo bee but John Lewis are being a real pain in delivering it and giving the worst possible advice and promises of new parts that don't arrive and not to mention they archived our details, which could not be found. I would not recommend buying a buggie form John Lewis as the after care is the worst and I would not recommend Bugaboo. All the Bees should have been legally recalled on safety grounds.
