Bunk bed recommendations

Hello, we are after a strong, wood bunk bed for a 9 and 6 year old to use. Probably white solid pine. Needs to be a full size single mattress, but not take up too much space.

Any recommendations? The ikea one looks weak, gltc too expensive. John Lewis looks good but is out of stock.

Strictly beds and bunks. British made, good price simple pine beds. No frills and easy to adapt if required as just plain wood no laminate etc. We went for the L shape so the younger could sit on his bed too.

I would go for a solid brand like stompa, Aspace or Thuka. Get Laid beds do very sturdy beds too.

Loads of bunk beds on Ebay too, they tend to get outgrown so people are always selling them on, that makes the better brands more affordable.

Thuka. We wanted ones that would come apart into separate normal size/shaped beds as well.

We have a scallywags bunk bed that is great. They’re a bit pricey new, but we bought second hand off eBay. Very sturdy even after being reassembled without instructions!

Strictly Bunks amd Beds, although you'd have to paint it yourself. They are very very solid, choice if widths and lengths. Mine was cheaper via Wayfair, you might be able to get cashback via Top Cashback too.

Thuka. Look on eBay. The older model called Maxi is sturdier than the current ones.
