Amniotic 'sludge' found?

Hello,

I am at high risk of a short cervix and during my scan, the sonographer mentioned that there is 'sludge' present in my amniotic fluid.

Does anybody have any experience of this also please?

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto thank you for responding. I saw a consultant yesterday, they are still unsure what it is exactly but I'm being monitored closely.

They have ruled out infection at this point, which is the main reason to worry with 'sludge' apparently (horrible word!) x

I'm sorry that they don't have any answers but I'm glad they're monitoring you. Hope it turns out to be nothing
