Nuna Mixx or Joie Versatrax???

Does anyone have experience with either of these 2 prams? Wanting for a newborn. Will be used both in the car and on walks. Thank you.

I know it sounds safe, but I am struggling to find a store that stocks them so I can go and test them out. Our nearest John Lewis is over an hour away! I think I need to find an independent baby store.

I don’t know the nuna mixx but we tried out the versatrex, it’s a lovely pram, folds down so easily and looks really nice, amazing for the price tbh. Our key concern was that it doesn’t really have any suspension - the wheels are a good size but we tried it on rough tarmac and it wasn’t very smooth. In the end we went for the Joie signature Finiti which is a very similar pram but has built in suspension points.

We’ve just bought the nuna mixx next generation travel system and have been really impressed with it.

I think if you can find a shop to try them out I'd definitely recommend it. The nuna was on our shortlist because it looks really lovely and their other products were highly recommended to me (we're going to buy the nuna leaf) but we didn't like the feel of it in person. We thought the frame felt less sturdy than our second choice as it would shake/shift slightly side to side. It was the same in two shops so came to the conclusion it wasn't the way the shop had built it and we ultimately decided against it for that reason. I've seen loads out and about though so they're obviously really popular and others haven't felt the same. It's a really personal thing so definitely worth finding the prams to get a feel for them in person if you can.

I have had the versatrax from newborn and love it. It folds really easy and fits in the boot of my mini. I haven’t noticed a bumpy ride, either when using the carrycot or the actual pram. I found it easy to put the carrycot on and off, when he was tiny and I clipped the car seat on to the frame that was harder to get on and off. Now that I use the actual seat it looks lovey and love you can have it facing both ways.
