Pram advice - Egg2

Hi there

I've just recently started looking into prams and finding it all a bit overwhelming.

I think I've settled on an Egg2 but would love to hear of anyone experience with this or if they have another suggestion.

FYI: I've a large XC90 car so boot space isn't an issue

Completely relate to the overwhelm! What is it you liked about the egg2? It is a beautiful looking travel system.

I found I initially really liked the egg 2 when I first tried it in the shop but then when we went back to have a second look, we tried getting the car seat on and off and it really wasn't the smoothest which put me off, although it could just be the way we were doing it! In the end we've gone for the uppababy vista.

The choice out there is overwhelming, I too think I’ve settled on the egg2 yet I’m having second thoughts.
What is it that you like?
I really like the Olive colour I think it’s unusual and it fits my height 5ft and my partners height of 6’2. But I’ve also found myself going back to the bugaboo or mamas and papas.
I’ve also read people are find the car seat a faff when putting it in the car and in the chassis so when I thought I had made a decision I just don’t know.

I love Egg2. The suspension is great for all types of terrain: woods, pavement, bumpy roads, etc. My baby is happy in it since she was a newborn. Although it’s heavy, the size is not too big for getting into the bus or train. My car is a small KIA RIO, and it fits alright. With its adjustable height, it suits both petite (me) and tall (husband) really well.

I have the Egg2 bundle. I’ve not used it yet as I’m 38 weeks and waiting. I was given the option to upgrade the car seat from the egg to a cybex which would last longer, so I’ve done that. I think it cost £100 more, so worth looking into to save money in the long run. X

I was set on the egg 2. Untill I went pram shopping and fell in love with I candy peach 7. Comparing them, the egg2 looked cheaply made and the I candy felt so smooth and amazing. Where as in photos I loved the egg2. But obv everyone's different.
